Full of character, Eymet offers a wonderful choice of cafés, restaurants, bars and independent shops, along with weekly markets, evening food markets, festivals and events throughout the year. The historic riverside town of Bergerac is just 25 minutes away, while the beautiful city of Bordeaux can be reached in around 90 minutes, making both perfect for a day trip.

The surrounding area is rich in charming villages, including Issigeac, Monpazier, Lauzun and Duras, each offering its own unique history, markets and medieval charm. Situated in the heart of the Bergerac and Duras wine regions, Le Moutique is ideally placed for vineyard visits, wine tastings and discovering the wonderful local produce found in the region’s farmers’ markets.

For those who love the outdoors, the Dordogne countryside is yours to explore, with walking, cycling and canoeing all close by. Families can enjoy swimming at Lac de Lougratte, days out at Château des Vigiers, and discovering the many castles, historic villages and prehistoric sites that make this one of France’s most fascinating regions..
